Tim McNulty leads poetry discussion in Sequim

Published 2:50 pm Wednesday, March 19, 2014

Sequim author and poet Tim McNulty will facilitate a poetry conversation at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 1, at the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave.

McNulty has selected “The Song of Wandering Aengus” by the great Irish poet, William Butler Yeats (1865-1939).

“It’s one of Yeats’ best-loved poems,” said McNulty, “drawing on Celtic mythology, love and mystic quest. It’s been a lifetime favorite of mine. Yeats is a well-known poet and this is a beautiful and quite accessible poem that operates on a number of levels. It will be fun to discuss.”

Copies of “The Song of Wandering Aengus” are available at the Sequim Library and at the program.

Preregistration is not required and drop-ins are welcome.
