U.S. Bank helps Community Aid

U.S. Bank’s Foundation granted Sequim Community Aid $1,500 to help restore some services for those in need within Sequim School District boundaries. Community Aid helps pay rent/mortgages, utilities and bus/ferry fares for job interviews, doctor appointments and transportation to other agencies. Earlier this year, Community Aid organizers had to limit donations to clients because of an increase in need.

U.S. Bank Foundation has given $20,625 so far in 2011 to charities in Sequim, Port Angeles and Port Townsend. Contact Sequim U.S. Bank, 101 W. Washington St., at 683-3366.

Sequim Community Aid, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, continues to seek assistance; donations may be sent to Sequim Community Aid, P.O. Box 1591, Sequim, WA, 98382.

Those needing assistance can call the group at 683-3731.
