City of Sequim accepts passport applications

Sequim’s City Clerk’s Office is an authorized Passport Acceptance Agency. Passport applications and associated forms are available at City Hall, 152 W. Cedar St., during normal business hours, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday-Friday, or visit the Passport website, http://travel.state.gov, to download forms.  

Passport applications are accepted at City Hall by appointment only.  

Two types of passports are available. The typical passport book is required to fly out of the United States. A passport card, similar to an enhanced driver’s license, is also available for those planning to drive or boat to Canada, Mexico, Bermuda or the Caribbean.  

The current passport processing time is 4-6 weeks. Expedited passports can be received within 2-3 weeks by paying an additional fee of $60.
