NAMI to host classes

The NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Affiliate meeting will take place at Olympic Medical Center, 939 Caroline St. at the lower level at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19. Any one interested is welcome to attend.

The agenda will consist of informative reports from various board members regarding their recent trip to the NAMI State Conference held in Ellensburg.

Also, at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 19 NAMI Clallam County will be sponsoring its “Family to Family” annual educational program at the Kings Way Foursquare Church on Old Olympic Highway in Sequim. The free 12-week course is designed to meet the needs of family members and close friends of an adult who is living with mental illness. Curriculum for this class was written by an experienced family member/mental health professional. Call 452-5244.
