City employee earns Water Treatment Plant Operator certification

City of Sequim maintenance worker Doug Bridges has earned his certification as a Water Treatment Plant Operator, a Washington State Department of Health Certification. Bridges is the first city employee to earn the WTPO certification. He conducted independent study and attended a three-day course in preparation for the WTPO examination. He has worked for the City of Sequim since April 1999 and is part of a three-person water crew.
