P.C. launches multimedia journalism program

This fall, students at Peninsula College will have an opportunity to earn a Multimedia Communications Journalism Foundations short-term proficiency certificate that provides an understanding of professional communications grounded in mass media.

The 19-credit certificate includes the following courses: Media 110 — Introduction to Multimedia-Graphics (5 credits); CMST 102, Introduction to Mass Media (5 credits); CMST 121, Photojournalism (5 credits); CMST 197, Internship — Journalism (1 credit); and CMST 286, Introduction to Newspaper Production 1 (3 credits).
