Readers Theatre Plus hosts auditions

Readers Theatre Plus is putting on a series of auditions for its next two productions, "A Thousand Clowns" (opening Jan. 31) and "Olive and the Bitter Herbs (opening March 21).

The auditions will be held at the three different sites on three different dates, as follows:

• 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 8, at Gardiner Community Center, 980 Old Gardiner Road (audition is for "A Thousand Clowns" only)

• 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 11, at Port Angeles Community Playhouse, Liberty and Lauridsen streets, Port Angeles

• 6:30-8:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13, at Sequim Prairie Grange Hall, 290 MacLeay Road, Sequim.

Actors will be given audition material at the site and will be expected to be available for all performance dates. Rehearsal dates are to be announced at a later date.
