‘Stuffing’ for Sequim Schools

All those young students gearing up for the impending school year just a got some help … about a bus’ worth.

The Sequim Walmart hosted the annual Stuff the Bus kick-off event for collecting donated school supplies on Aug. 14, with volunteers accepting items like backpacks, paper, pencils and erasers, binders and more.

Those who missed the event but want to donate school supplies also may drop them off at the

Sequim School District office, 503 N. Sequim Ave., during business hours (8 a.m.-3 p.m., Monday-Friday). Donated supplies will be made available to families in need at the Aug. 29 Back to School Fair, held at the Sequim Boys & Girls Club, 400 W. Fir St.
