OLYMPIC PENINSULA ACADEMY
Lilli Hardesty’s fashion class recently had a guest speaker from the fashion industry, Al Greco (now retired), who shared valuable information with class members to help them consider aspects of the fashion design industry.
Mr. Greco took a great interest in reviewing the students’ fashion creations and hearing about the challenges they faced in the design phase.
Mr. Greco, upon hearing that they didn’t have a dress form mannequin, generously bought one as a gift to the class.
The students are so thankful for the gift of his time and expertise, and of their new classroom mannequin. They decided to name their class mannequin “Al” in Mr. Greco’s honor.

Steve Mahitka’s floral class students, utilizing evergreens, white and red carnations and candles, prepared holiday arrangements as their final project before the winter break. The students also helped out with making floral arrangements to be presented during the winter wishes assembly.
