PA man sentenced to 123 months in prison

Anthony Forshaw of Port Angeles was sentenced on March 28 to 123 months of prison following convictions for Possession of a Stolen Firearm, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm in the Second Degree, Bail Jumping and Resisting Arrest.

The sentence was imposed following Forshaw’s remand from Drug Court and stipulated bench trial before Superior Court Judge Eric Rohrer.

Forshaw also pleaded guilty to Residential Burglary, Theft of a Motor Vehicle, and Possession of a Stolen Vehicle. He was sentenced to 63 months in prison to be served concurrently with the Drug Court case.

Forshaw has 12 prior felonies, all of which consist of theft-related crimes, according to the Clallam County Prosecutor’s Office.

The defense argued to have Forshaw’s sentence served concurrently to a Snohomish County case, for which he is currently serving a prison term. But Chief Criminal Deputy Prosecutor Michele Devlin objected to the request, saying Forshaw was essentially a “one-man crime spree” picking up three new cases in Clallam County in a matter of days, after which he fled to Snohomish County and picked up another felony charge, the prosecutor’s office said.

Rohrer denied the request and ordered the Clallam County cases be served consecutively to the Snohomish County case.
