The Washington State Community Economic Revitalization Board announced in March the Port of Port Angeles will receive a $50,000 grant for the Marine Trades Industrial Park site plan.
The grant will partially fund the feasibility study/master plan for the Marine Trades Industrial Park located at the former KPly mill site on Marine Drive in Port Angeles.
The study/plan includes a preferred site layout alternative that will maximize the utilization of the 19 acres of waterfront property, a cost estimate and a project phasing schedule.
CERB funds will be matched with $50,000 of budgeted port funds to complete the Marine Trade Industrial site plan.
Also, the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe will receive a $50,000 grant for its wastewater infrastructure planning support study.
