On April 20, the Shelter Providers Network of Clallam County will review progress on expanding affordable housing and adding services, including Sequim-based interfaith outreach, youth drop-in center and family shelter developments.

The Network meets in Room 160 of the Clallam County Courthouse, 223 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles, from 10-11:30 a.m.

A review of the recently completed state legislative session’s homelessness-related actions will cover groundbreaking new protections for tenants, $2 million to serve homeless public school students and Medicaid funding to help high-risk clients with significant health conditions, find and maintain housing.

The agenda also includes planning the June 15 Annual Forum on homelessness.

Everyone who is interested in ending homelessness in Clallam County is welcome. Sign-in begins at 9:45 a.m. There is no charge to attend.
