The first day of school is just around the corner — Aug. 31 for Sequim students.

Now is the time to get children in to see their health provider for required immunizations or come to one of the Clallam County Health and Human Services clinics scheduled below.

For current school vaccination requirements, access the WA State Department of Health Website at www.doh.wa.gov/CommunityandEnvironment/Schools/Immunization.

Clallam County Health & Human Services offers school vaccinations for $23 per vaccination. The county will bill Apple Health/Medicaid if one’s child has an I.D. card and is covered, and does not bill private insurance. Parents/guardians are asked to bring the child’s immunization record to the clinics.

Clinics include:

• Monday, Aug. 22, 8 a.m.-1 p.m., Port Angeles High School, 304 E. Park Ave., Port Angeles

• Monday, Aug. 22, 2-6:30 p.m., Sequim Middle School, 301 W. Hendrickson Road

• Tuesday, Aug. 23, 2-6:30 p.m., Sequim Middle School, 301 W. Hendrickson Road
