‘Being Mortal’ screening set for Thursday

Assured Hospice and the Olympic Area Agency on Aging are holding free, community screenings of the documentary “Being Mortal.”

The screenings are 8:30-10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, at the Olympic Medical Services Building, 840 N. Fifth Ave., in Sequim; and 2-4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 2, at the Shipley Center, 921 E. Hammond St., in Sequim. After the screening, audience members can participate in a guided conversation on how to take concrete steps to identify and communicate wishes about end-of-life goals and preferences.
