US Highway 101 gets a remodel in Blyn

Construction crews continue work in Blyn as part of the US Highway 101-Chicken Coop-Zaccardo Road Realignment Safety Project. The Zaccardo Road intersection is being realigned to intersect Chicken Coop Road. Additional improvements include a westbound left turn pocket to Chicken Coop Road, an acceleration lane for left turns out of Chicken Coop Road to westbound US Highway 101 and an eastbound, right turn pocket in to Chicken Coop Road. Annette Nesse, Chief Operations Officer for the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe, said she expects the project to be substantially complete by the end of November.
