The Sequim Lavender Growers’ 2017 Holiday Bazaar was deemed a big success after the Sequim Lavender Growers Association raised $1200 for two local charities: Toys for Tots and the Red Cross.
At the Nov. 24-25 event hosted at Sunland Golf & Country Club, Santa helped collect $170 in cash, 23 toys, 14 stuffed animals, 25 stocking stuffers and more.
Lavender gift baskets (filled with goodies from the Sequim Lavender Growers), a tree and artwork were raffled off and raised almost $600.
The association is matching the raffle proceeds and dropping off checks to Toys for Tots and The Red Cross for $600 each. Santa and Buddy the Elf (Jeff Lundstrom and Mike McCrorie) were suited up for the bazaar.
