Milestone: Soroptimist group honors SHS’s McMinn, Norman

Soroptimist International of Sequim recently selected Adare McMinn, left, and Abby Norman as their Girls of the Month for November and December 2017.

McMinn volunteers at the Sequim Food Bank, the Teddy Bear Tea for Olympic Medical Center and the Stair Climb for Cancer. As 2018 graduating senior, McMinn is considering three universities before making a final decision for college.

Norman is a 2017 Sequim Irrigation Festival princess, vice president of Sequim High School and has donated more than 300 hours for 2107. She is considering a pre-med major and is looking at either University of Portland or Willamette University.
