Milestone: Hall another Skwim Toastmasters honor

Skwim Toastmasters celebrated another member achievement recently when Kyle Hall received his second Advanced Communication Silver award.

A resident of Sequim since 2013, Hall has been a Toastmaster for 24 years. He has held every club officer role, plus Area and Division Governor. He was District Speakers Bureau Chair, Conference Chair, Educational Chair and has presented more educational sessions at conferences than he can remember.

“One of the things I love about Toastmasters are the annual contests,” he says. “I’m proud to say I took third place in the World Championship of Public Speaking in 2003. In 2004, I decided to expand my leadership experience — I chaired the Region 1 Conference. I’m currently serving as the District 32 Program Quality Director and as my club’s webmaster.”

Hall already holds the highest award Toastmasters offers: a DTM, or Distinguished Toastmaster Award. He is nearing achievement of his second DTM. Kyle’s depth of experience and ability to share it with others is part of what makes the Skwim Toastmasters Club such an exciting place to grow.

Skwim Toastmasters is part of Toastmasters International, a worldwide nonprofit educational organization that empowers individuals to become more effective communicators and leaders. The Sequim club meets on the first and third Tuesdays of the month from 7-8:15 p.m. at The Gathering Place in Sunland, 137 Fairway Dr.
