The Olympic Peninsula YMCA is offering a number of camps this summer for youths and families alike.

Summer Day Camp, Family Overnight Camp and Youth Overnight Camp at the YMCA provides youths with adventure, healthy fun, personal growth and friendships, event organizers say.

• Family Overnight Camp

Families will enjoy all Camp David activities together, including campfires, canoeing, archery, hiking, field games, camp traditions and more, from June 29-July 3. All ages are welcome. The YMCA provides lodging, food and activities. Packing lists for campers and more details are available at www.olympicpeninsulaymca.org/familycamp. Cost is $100 for YMCA youths, $125 for YMCA adults, or $115/$150 for non-YMCA members. Registration closes Friday, June 1.

• Youth Overnight Camp

Set for Aug. 13-17, YMCA Camp at Camp Beausite (Chimacum) immerses children of ages 6-13 in a community where making friends is natural, exploring new interests is encouraged and discovering inner strength is guaranteed. The camp aims to teach self-reliance, instill a love for nature and the outdoors, and build character and leadership — amidst the fun of campfires, kayaking, archery, friends, water experiences, mentorships, camp traditions and more. Cost is $225 for YMCA members, $275 for non-members. Campers will sleep in cabins based on age and gender. All meals and activities are included in camp costs; attendees need to pack bed linens (or sleeping bag), toiletries, towels and clothes. A complete list can be found at www.olympicpeninsulaymca.org/youthcamp. Registration is open through July 15.

• YMCA of Port Angeles Summer Day Camps

The YMCA of Port Angeles, 302 S. Francis St., hosts a number of day camps starting June 25 and running weekdays through Aug. 31. Camps are for children who have completed kindergarten, ages 5-12. They can register for one or more weeks and have options for morning classes, afternoon classes or both. See www.olympicpeninsulaymca.org/pasummerdaycamps for more details and fees.
