Special Trinity United concert set
Sandy Rawson, a longtime church organist and concert pianist, will be featured in a concert at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 17, dedicating Trinity United Methodist Church’s recently acquired Allen organ, at the church, 100 S. Blake Ave.
Also participating is Rawson’s husband Alan, a concert violinist, Trinity organist Pauline Olsen and Donna Grubbs, the church’s pianist and music director.
A variety of music will be offered, taking advantage of the versatility of the organ, which Sandy Rawson donated to the church. A highlight will be “The Lark Ascending” by British composer Ralph Vaughan Williams, arranged for violin and organ and performed by Alan and Sandy Rawson.
The Rawsons perform together under the name Rawson Duo, including concerts at their Chimacum home.
There is no admission charge for the church’s concert. Baskets will be available for donations.
A reception will follow the concert.
Monday Musicale meeting set
The monthly Monday Musicale meeting for March is set for noon on March 18 at Queen of Angels Catholic church fellowship hall, 209 W. 11th St., Port Angeles. The meeting will be followed by a free concert presenting Dan Tutton and the homeschool jazz band.
Monday Musicale meets the third Monday of the month and the proceeds from memberships are used for scholarships for local high school musicians.

First Friday Readings
The next Fourth Friday Readings event is set for 6:15 p.m., March 22, in the media room at The Lodge, 660 Evergreen Farm Way.
The featured writer is Linda B. Myers. Following her presentation is 5-minute open mic readings.
Attendees are asked to bring poems, short-short stories or memoir/novel snippets. They are encouraged to rehearse in advance, as readings are timed.

Buck Ellard at the Grange
The Sequim Prairie Grange, 290 Macleay Road, hosts a dinner and dance with the Buck Ellard Band from 5:30-8 p.m. on Sunday, March 17. Cost for both dinner and dance is $10 per person. For more information, call Loretta at 360-582-0100
Music change at Elks Lodge
Paul Rogers & the Swingin’ Humannequins play a concert a dance featuring jump swing, boogie woogie, R&B and soul from 6-8:30 p.m. Friday, March 29, the Sequim Elks Lodge, 143 Port Williams Road. Originally the Caribe Steel Band was scheduled to play that date.
Cost is a $10 cover, or $8 for all Elk members.
‘No Crime’ to take stage
The Ludlow Village Players present Bill Gleason’s comedy-mystery, “No Crime Like the Present” March 29-31 and April 5-7 at The Bay Club, 120 Spinnaker Place, Port Ludlow. Showtimes are 7 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, 2 p.m. for Sunday matinees. Admission is $17; tickets may be purchased at The Bay Club or through brownpapertickets.com.
