After two weeks and more than 150 volunteer hours, members of the Sequim Sunrise Rotary finished their efforts to paint the Sequim Boys & Girls Club’s game room.

The last paint went on windows and doors on Aug. 13, with 11 Rotarians and their family members splitting time during and after the Carroll C. Kendall unit’s open hours.

Work started on Aug. 2 with Rotarians buying the paint, new coat hangers and other supplies. The Boys & Girls Club also received new games and carpet from other donors.

Students were expected to return to the game room this week as part of their summer rotations, staff said.
