Sequim’s BSA Troop 1498 (boys) and BSA Troop 7498 (girls) recently gave thanks to the YMCA of Sequim, their charter organization, performing a community service project on Dec. 11. Scout members helped spread 22 yards of bark to beautify the property at the YMCA, 610 N. Fifth Ave.

The units, with troop member ages 11-17, meet weekly on Thursday evenings from 6:15-7:45 p.m. at the YMCA. All residents interested are welcome to check out the clubs.
