Milestone: Sequim Elks select Stites for Student of the Month

The Sequim Elks Lodge’s Student of the Month for April is Sequim High sophomore Ryan Stites.

His parents are Roger and Autumn Stites.

Ryan was born and raised in Sequim. He maintains a 3.91 grade-point-average and his favorite subject is chemistry. He enjoys reading the Bible and hanging out with his friends. His hobbies include reading, hiking and exploring the national and state parks.

Stites is a member of the tennis and golf teams at Sequim High. His school courses include Algebra II Honors, Spanish II, Advanced Placement (AP) Seminar, AP World History and UW Chemistry

After graduation, Stites plans to attend a graduate school and become a pastor.
