Petals & Pathways tickets on sale
Tickets are on sale for this year’s Petals & Pathways garden tour sponsored by the Master Gardener Foundation of Clallam County. A limited number will be sold. This year’s tour features eight gardens in Sequim. Master Gardeners will be on site to assist and inform garden enthusiasts.
The tour will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 28.
The gardens are playfully named for their uniqueness such as “Second Chance” which is an example of Intentional Landscaping. This property is a beautiful and whimsical retreat for family and friends. There are other Intentional Landscapes such as “Harvest Haven” with its sustainable and healthy gardens for kitchen and table. Learn new variety and techniques in growing food from the Sequim Organic Community Gardens. “Sanctuary for Humans & Wildlife” shares riches for pollinators, birds, native plants and food for all life.
The 2025 tour has lots of trees highlighting Sequim’s canopy with 193 trees in the newly designated Arboretum, Pioneer Memorial Park, which will have Sequim Valley Lions 11th Annual Crab and Auction fundraising event from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The auction is free to view for the community.
Tickets for the tour are $20. They can be purchased at clallammgf.org and at these locations:

Crab meal can be purchased on site at Pioneer Memorial Park 1pm-5pm
Silent hike at the Spit
Clallam County Poet Laureate Nellie Bridge invites people of all ages to compose poetry at “Silent Hike at the Spit,” a free event beginning at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 31. Participants are to meet at the entrance to the Dungeness Spit Trail in Sequim.
Amos Almy, visitor services manager at the Dungeness Refuge, will provide a brief talk. Afterward, the group will walk while composing poetry without talking or interacting. After about 30 minutes, participants may share aloud the lines they memorized, which can be about any idea or topic — or they can just listen to others.

Bonsai Show
The Dungeness Bonsai Society will present the 47th Annual Spring Bonsai Show on Saturday, June 14, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Dungeness River Nature Center, 1943 W. Hendrickson Road. in Sequim. Admission is free.
Elvis tribute concert
The Lodge at Sherwood Village, 660 W. Evergreen Farm Way in Sequim, will host a free Elvis Presley tribute concert featuring award-winning Elvis impersonator Danny Vernon on Wednesday, June 18, from 2-4 p.m.
Photo ops with Vernon will be available after the show.
Elvis’ favorite dessert — pound cake — will be served, topped with fresh, locally grown strawberries and a dollop of hand-whipped cream.
Father’s Day BBQ
The Fifth Avenue independent retirement facility located at 500 W. Hendrickson Rd. invites the community to an outdoor celebration in honor of Father’s Day featuring a barbecue and live music by local favorite Buck Ellard.
The event will take place on Thursday, June 12, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
For $5, guests can enjoy burgers with sides served picnic-style under the trees.
