NOLS announces August book discussion groups

The North Olympic Library System (NOLS) has set the following Book Discussion Groups for August:

Second Saturday (Aug. 9)

“The Seed Keeper” by Diane Wilson

This discussion group will take place in person at 3 p.m. at the Sequim Library’s temporary location, 609 W.

Washington St. Paperback copies are available there.

Second Wednesday (Aug. 13)

“Monsters: A Fan’s Dilemma” by Claire Dederer

This one will be on Zoom at 4 p.m. Paperback copies are available at the Port Angeles and Sequim libraries.

Fourth Wednesday (Aug. 27)

“Soil: The Story of a Black Mother’s Garden” by Camille T. Dungy

This group will meet in person at 6 p.m. in the Raymond Carver Room at the Port Angeles Main Library, 2210 S. Peabody St. Paperback copies are available at that location.

Copies of the selected books in other formats such as large print, audiobook, and eBook may also be available to borrow through the NOLS catalog.
