Clallam area nurse is suspended

The Nursing Care Quality Assurance Commission, a division of the Washington State Department of Health, has suspended the credentials of Clallam County registered nurse and advanced registered nurse practitioner Rose M. Vasquez, who failed to comply with terms of an earlier stipulation.

The department’s Health Systems Quality Assurance Office works with boards, commissions and advisory committees to set licensing standards for more than 70 health care professions.

Consumers who think a health care provider acted unprofessionally are encouraged to call and report the complaint.
