The Sequim Community Orchestra finishes its third season this Friday night.

More than 40 players present works by Beethoven, Schubert, Tschaikowsky and more at 7 p.m. Friday, June 19, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 100 S. Blake Ave.

The free concert offers refreshments and a meet-and-greet with musicians and music director Phil Morgan-Ell. Jasmine Gauthun, who has played violin since age 3, will serve as concertmaster for the show.

The orchestra, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, has grown to nearly 50 members in three years with goals of providing an avenue for musicians of all skill levels to gain experience and offer strings instruction in Sequim schools students.

Classes run twice a week during the school year and began in fall 2013. Next fall, a third-year class begins at Sequim Middle School.

The orchestra rehearses weekly from September-June.
