Rending Red Rooster’s Red Ribbon

Mark Ozias, center, and Lisa Boulware ceremonially cut the ribbon to open their Red Rooster Grocery on Friday, April 16. The store at 134½ W. Washington St., Sequim, (enter on side of building through Seal Street Park) specializes in locally grown organic produce, milk from the Dungeness Valley Creamery and other locally produced foods, plants, flowers and gifts. Marc Lawrence of US Bank, at left, and Ozias hold the grocery’s Chamber of Commerce plaque. Red Rooster’s hours are 8:30 a.m-6:30 p.m. Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, 10 a.m-4 p.m. Sunday.
