A 20-year-old is charged with possession of heroin after deputies say they found nearly four grams of the drug on his person.
Colin Joseph Richard Kennedy, “Joseph,” of Sequim, was arrested on Hooker Road on a local misdemeanor warrant Aug. 30, Clallam County Sheriff’s Deputy Andrew Wagner said in an arrest report.
When searching Kennedy subsequent to his arrest, Wagner found three pipes, numerous pieces of used tinfoil and a baggie containing a black tar substance weighing 3.8 grams, the deputy said.
The substance tested positive for heroin.
Kennedy was arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, heroin, a Class C felony, and booked into the Clallam County jail.
A felony drug possession charge was filed Sept. 1 in Clallam County Superior Court. Kennedy was released on his own recognizance and is scheduled for arraignment Sept. 9.
