More than 100 huggable dolls from Sequim reached their destination for children affected by the earthquake in Port Au Prince, Haiti.
Earlier this year, 20 volunteers at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church worked for a month on the gender-, age- and race-free dolls so the children could have something to hold.
The Rev. Lauren Stanley, an Episcopalian church-supported missionary, delivered the dolls around Easter time to a Catholic orphanage school.
