Peninsula College hires human resources director

Kraig Michels has been named the new director of human resources at Peninsula College, replacing Bonnie Cauffman who retired Jan. 7, after 37 years at PC.

Michels was most recently coordinator of Human Resources and Benefits for the North Slope Borough School District in Barrow, Alaska.

He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration management and a master’s degree in business administration accounting and human resources from the University of Montana.

Michels begins work at the college Feb. 1.
