Work to repair the Railroad Bridge Trestle across the Dungeness River is complete.

The bridge was damaged in a storm in February 2015 and since then the Jamestown S’Klallam Tribe and and many of its partners have been working to restore not only the pathway for park users and a key link in the Olympic Discovery Trail, but also habitat for the area’s wildlife.

The photo above shows the pedestrian/bike bridge under construction on Oct. 6, 2015, and the one below shows work completed on June 29, 2016.
