The second annual “Things to Do in Sequim” event, focusing on volunteerism and local clubs and organizations, is scheduled for 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 1, at the Sequim Prairie Grange, 290 Macleay Road.

The event brings together clubs, organizations and groups using volunteers or providing activities, with people interested in learning more about their community and the various opportunities to serve and participate in diverse activities.

The grange will provide, at no cost, a table for each participating group, where they can display information and tell their story.

The public is invited to come and learn about the various opportunities, in and around Sequim, to be part of these organizations and activities.

About 50 tables are available inside and there also is abundant space on the grounds. If your group would like to participate, email Ted Lund at tedlund@wav ecable.com or call 477-4742.
