SHS’s Green Thumbs Set Sale

Agricultural and horticultural classes at Sequim High School open their greenhouse this week for the spring plant sale.

Over several months, students cultivated more than 40 types of plants including bedding, herbs, vegetables and fuchsia baskets.

Chicks are available, too.

The sale runs noon-5:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 4; 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Thursday-Friday, May 5-6; and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, May 7, at Sequim High School, 601 N. Sequim Ave. Funds go to programming.

The City of Sequim’s flower baskets, which students also cultivated, go out in June.
