Sequim Community Christmas Chorus calls all singers for 2017 season

The Sequim Community Christmas Chorus is preparing to launch its 2017 season of presenting sacred Christmas music for the community and is calling all who love to sing to participate.

Rehearsals begin at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19, at the Sequim Seventh-day Adventist Church at 30 Sanford Lane. Registration begins at 6 p.m.

Rehearsals continue on Tuesday nights and performances take place on Dec. 1 (7:30 p.m.), Dec. 2 (3 p.m.) and Dec. 3 (3 p.m).

The chorus will again be directed by Gary McRoberts, a director with more than 30 years of experience, accompanied by pianist Curry Winborn.

The Sequim Community Christmas Chorus is open to singers of all levels of experience and participation requires no fees or auditions.

Although the chorus sings only sacred Christmas music, it has no religious affiliation and is presented in cooperation with the Sequim-Dungeness Valley Chamber of Commerce.
