Meaning of D-Day discussed
Mac Alexander Macdonald presents ”What Does D-Day Mean to Us Today?” from 7-8:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 11, at the Center for Spiritual Living, 254 N. Bagley Creek Road, Port Angeles.
The program “helps us remember that the sacrifices made on our behalf on those beaches give us the opportunity to pay it forward, to guide ourselves in a spirit of gratitude rather than defensiveness; to remember how important we are to our communities, thus repairing relationships and getting back at it,” program organizers say. The event is in the center’s big barn; participants are asked to dress in layers for comfort.
Macdonald is the owner and president of the LYFE Enhancement Company. He has been a corporate trainer and consultant for the last 35 years, helping business owners and managers of all types of organizations discover stronger leadership skills.
