Exercise for Thanksgiving

SportsFit Training Center, 1102 E. Washington St., is hosting a Thanksgiving Day workout to help raise food for the Sequim Food Bank, starting at 9 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 23. Benefit at Blissie’s

Sequim businessperson attends national convention

Bob Reandeau was recently invited by the American Bankers Association and Sound Community Bank President and CEO Laurie Stewart to participate at a roundtable discussing the relationship between small business owners and banks at the association’s annual convention in Chicago.

Reandeau is the president of Sequim-based Puget Sound Executive Services, which provides uniformed and/or plain clothed off-duty police officers working corporate security, executive protection and traffic control services on both a local and national level.

The roundtable focused on traditional banking meeting non-traditional small business opportunities. Topics included what business clients say about banking relationships and how banks are adapting to meet the unique needs of today’s entrepreneur.

“I was proud to appear with our client at the ABA convention,” Stewart said. “Bob described the importance of banking to small and medium sized businesses and explained how using technology allows him to manage personal and business finances on his phone. It is so gratifying to help provide the backing so our clients may grow and prosper, not to mention adding well-paying jobs to our economy.”
