Castell’s Wellman completes program

Andrea Wellman of Castell Insurance recently completed a five-week “Producer Development Program” with Safeco Insurance at their Seattle headquarters.

The program included intensive instruction into providing proper guidance and advice for her clients’ automobile, home and umbrella insurance needs specifically regarding Safeco Insurance products.

Wellman is the third producer/agent at Castell Insurance providing Safeco Insurance products and the second to go through the Producer Development Program.

1st Security Bank adds community room

1st Security Bank’s Sequim Branch at 114 S. Sequim Ave. is hosting a grand opening for its addition of a community room on Wednesday, May 30.

Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy wine tastings by Marrowstone Winery, light bites by a local caterer and live music by DJ Dustin.

The Sequim-Dungeness Chamber of Commerce will also be on-site for a ribbon cutting ceremony at 5:30 p.m. on grand opening day.

The community room can accommodate more than 75 people, allowing the bank’s nonprofit clients to hold large meetings and events in the space at no cost.

Hours of operation will be 9 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 9 a.m.-6 p.m. on Friday.

The space features a kitchenette, tables and chairs that can be used for convenient meetings and event setup.

The Sequim room is the bank’s fifth community room in Washington state.
