The wife of a Southern Baptist minister (Cheryl DiPietro) enlists a gay dance instructor (Michael Sickles) for help in Olympic Theatre Arts’ “Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks” that opens this weekend.

Greg Scherer directs the two-person play that actors say explores biases and stereotypes along with loneliness and friendship from June 7-16 in the OTA Gathering Hall, 414 N. Sequim Ave.

Shows begin at 7:30 p.m. Fridays-Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays, with a Pay-What-You-Will performance on Thursday, June 13.

Tickets cost $18 for the general public, $16 for OTA members, and for $10 students with ID. Purchase them in advance between 1-5 p.m. at the OTA box office weekdays and online at www.OlympicTheatreArts.org.

For more information, call 360-683-7326.

OTA advises the play is for adult audiences only.
