The Skwim Toastmasters club invites the public to a special workshop on TED Talk Secrets from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, at Sinclair Place, 680 W. Prairie St., Sequim.
In this workshop, you’ll discover what makes TED Talks so compelling and learn how you can use TED techniques to be a more effective communicator.
TED Talks’ techniques can be used for all aspects of daily life. Imagine being able to influence the city council on pending legislation, convincing friends of your point of view or even having effective conversations with your family. It’s all there in the workshop.
“Minds are being opened and perspectives changed by this powerful method of communication,” said Kyle Hall, vice president/education for Skwim Toastmasters.
Admission is free. Seating is limited. RSVP or just show up. For more information, e-mail Kyle Hall at kyle.s.hall01@gmail.com or call 808-5780.
