Northwest poets read in Port Angeles

Poets Finn Wilcox, of Port Townsend, and Michael Daley, of Mount Vernon, read at
7 p.m. Friday, March 19, in the Raymond Carver Room at Port Angeles Library, 2210 S. Peabody St., Port Angeles.
Admission is free. They also appear that day from 1:30-2:30 p.m. on Karen Hanan’s show on radio station KONP. Wilcox and Daley helped found Empty Bowl Press in Port Townsend.
Wilcox’s works include "Here Among the Sacrificed," with Steve R. Johnson’s photographs; "Lesson Learned: Love Poems" and "Nine Flower Mountain." He was co-editor with Jerry Gorsline of "Working the Woods, Working the Sea: an Anthology of Northwest Writing," is a past editor of Empty Bowl Press and worked in the Northwest’s forests for more than 20 years.
Daley’s published works include "The Straits," "To Curve," "Way Out There" and "Moonlight in the Redemptive Forest." A former Olympic Peninsula resident, he teaches English at Mount Vernon High School.
