Milestone: Soroptimists donate to First Step for COVID-19 help

Soroptimist International of Sequim recently presented Elisia Hernandez, Program Director of First Step (center), with a check for $986.61 to use for families affected financially from COVID-19.

Cat Xander, left, and Colleen Blazier, co-chairs of the organization’s recent shredding fundraiser, presented the check. Funds were raised from a June 27 shredding event.
