Interfaith group to explore ‘Braiding Sweetgrass’

Interfaith Community of Clallam County is hosting a 2021 Winter Spiritual Read, focusing on “Braiding Sweetgrass” by Robin Kimmerer. Participants are encouraged to learn from the natural systems around them “to build a reciprocal relationship with the earth and all creatures; to learn how to create a more environmentally regenerative, socially just, and spiritually fulfilling way of life.”

The book read begins the week of Jan. 25 with seven different times and groups for interested folks to join. The group meets weekly by Zoom to discuss, reflect, share resources and build community.

• Sundays, 1 p.m. — facilitator Bob Nuffer

• Mondays, 2 p.m. — facilitators Tim West, Margaret Denstad

• Tuesdays, 7 p.m. — facilitator Asha Burson-Johnson

• Wednesdays, 9:30 a.m. — facilitators Robert, Marilyn Eash

• Wednesdays, 1:30 p.m. — facilitator Diana Somerville

• Thursdays, 10 a.m. — facilitator Marilyn Eash

• Thursdays, 2 p.m. — facilitator Donna Little

Other groups than those listed above are being formed as well. To register, email to interfaithclallamcounty@gmail.com and let organizers know which group you’d like to join.
