Learn what an EcoVillage with a CoHousing format will look like.

“We are a group of people with a vision of creating an EcoVillage here near the Olympic Mountains in the greater Sequim/Carlsborg area,” organizers note. “EcoVillages are urban or rural communities of people, who strive to integrate a supportive social environment with a low-impact, sustainable way of life. To achieve this, they integrate various aspects of ecological design, permaculture, ecological building, green production, alternative energy, community building practices and bartering.”

All CoHousing community members operate on consensus and own their own homes, organizers say.
