Tim McNulty leads poetry discussion in Sequim
Published 2:50 pm Wednesday, March 19, 2014
Sequim author and poet Tim McNulty will facilitate a poetry conversation at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 1, at the Sequim Library, 630 N. Sequim Ave.
McNulty has selected “The Song of Wandering Aengus†by the great Irish poet, William Butler Yeats (1865-1939).
“It’s one of Yeats’ best-loved poems,†said McNulty, “drawing on Celtic mythology, love and mystic quest. It’s been a lifetime favorite of mine. Yeats is a well-known poet and this is a beautiful and quite accessible poem that operates on a number of levels. It will be fun to discuss.â€
Copies of “The Song of Wandering Aengus†are available at the Sequim Library and at the program.
Preregistration is not required and drop-ins are welcome.
