Feast on local food

Friends of the Fields, a division of North Olympic Land Trust, celebrates the preservation of Finn Hall Farm with the 14th annual 100-Mile Harvest Dinner and silent auction fundraiser.

The completely local meal comes from area farms, fisheries, creameries and gardens and will be prepared by local chefs. Live music is by Linda Dowdell and Kia Armstrong.

The event starts at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 26, at the Sunland Country Club, 109 Hilltop Drive, Sequim.

Tickets are $99 per person by Sept. 15 or $115 per person after that date at the Alder Wood Bistro or Red Rooster Grocery in Sequim, Good to Go Grocery in Port Angeles, online at www.friendsofthefields.org or by calling 681-8636.

All net proceeds go to protecting local farmland.
