Small fire burns field, cause unknown

A brush fire burned a 30-foot by 50-foot area at 104 Washington Harbor Loop on Wednesday afternoon.
Clallam County Fire District 3 reported the fire was 50 feet from an unoccupied home and was called in at 3:53 p.m.
Crews used 300 gallons of water and are still investigating the cause. Sequim Gazette photo by Pat Coate.
