The Sequim Library is hosting free programs for children and families before and during Spring Break, offering hands-on activities that encourage creativity and problem solving.

Events take place at the Sequim Library’s temporary location, 609 W. Washington St. They are designed for school-aged children, with adult supervision required for children under age 9. All materials will be provided.

Here is a schedule of remaining events:

Saturday, March 29

“Spring Break Build It! with LEGO” will take place from 2:30-3:30 p.m. Children can use their imaginations to construct unique creations.

Thursday, April 3

On Thursday, April 3, children ages 6 and older are invited to participate in “Spring Break STEAM: Paper Circuit Art” from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Kids will be introduced to simple electronics, creating two- or three-dimensional artwork that lights up. No prior knowledge of electronics is required.

For information about youth programs at the library, visit NOLS.org/events, email youth@nols.org, or call 360-683-1161. Programs are funded in part by Friends of Sequim Library.
