Accordion social

The Sequim Accordion Social will be held Sunday, March 9 from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Shipley Center, 921 E. Hammond. Join fellow accordion players and enthusiasts for an afternoon of music and dancing. Joe Schipani will be this month’s featured entertainer. Snacks and coffee provided. Suggested donation of $5 at the door.

Appraisal Roadshow

The Lodge at Sherwood Village, 660 W. Evergreen Farm Way in Sequim, will present “Appraisal Roadshow” from 2-4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 19.

The free event is an opportunity to find out the value of artwork, jewelry and other items. Appraisers Darrel Reetz and Michael Smith, who each have more than 30 years’ experience, will be on site to evaluate items.

Attendees will be allowed to bring one item for appraisal. Organizers ask that those planning to attend email a photo and any details in advance to activities@thelodgeatsherwood.com to allow appraisers time to conduct preliminary research to provide the most accurate insights at the show.

Complimentary refreshments will be served.
