Writers on the Spit features John Norgord and Lynnette Baughman at the Fourth Friday Readings on Nov. 27.
The free readings begin at 6:30 p.m. in the media room at The Lodge, 660 Evergreen Farm Way, Sequim.
Baughman and Norgord enjoyed careers around the country and both returned to their Washington roots.
Baughman was born in Bremerton. She now calls Sequim home after a writing career in the Southwest. She has been a newspaper and magazine editor, and is now a fiction writer. Baughman has published eight novels, thriller to romance, and won an Eppie Award for Best Contemporary Romance in 2007. She is experienced in both traditional publishing and in digital self-publishing.
Norgord was born and raised in Seattle. A gifted climber, he completed the first winter ascent of Mount Olympus. He has served as president of the University of Washington climbing club. Norgord is working on his first novel, the harrowing journey of an elderly kidnapped woman. This story, based on true events, tracks the effect of crime on victims and families.
